Dear Loved Ones,

As we head into our country’s greatest day of the year, the United States of America stands tall to rejoice that a major threat has been dismantled, and the world is a more peaceful place.

Jesus warned us by saying, "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Sometimes we don’t know what is best until something dramatic happens. This is why now, more than ever, it’s so important to cling to our loving Savior, Jesus, 24 hours a day.

We don’t know what a day might bring, but behold, "He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep." The Lord says, "Call on Me, and I will answer you and show great and mighty things which you do not know." He wants us daily by His side, inquiring of things too big for us, so He can be a guiding Father to us, lovingly leading us in the paths of righteousness for our sake.

When the world seems out of control, trust and obey. Zephaniah 3:17 puts it this way: "The Lord your God is in your midst, the Mighty One will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." That still, small voice reminds us that He is always close by, bringing His peace that passes all understanding. Selah.

Stand tall, Israel, and you mighty men of valor! Rejoice in your coming King; He will come with vengeance and save you. Be proud, America, the land of the free and home of the brave!
